Sistine Chapel Mural
This mural located on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel was painted by
Michaelangelo. In 1508 Pope Julius II called for Michaelangelo to paint
a marvelous work of art to put in the Sistine Chapel.The picture you see
above you is only a small part of the mural called The Creation of Adam.
It took Michaelangelo 4 years to complete, but he finally finished.
